Salt in the wounds from an inopportunely timed CNBC broadcast. We know about poison corporate food, but we fail to notice a poisoned main stream media. Trim tabs indicates that the market fails to operate to money flow metrics. We are moving from “Denial” to the “confusion” stage of the great reset.

My guess is Austria. Here are some examples of what I think you have that are presently for sale on eBay (which should also give you an idea as to value):

Q&A: how do I solve a problem with PIP and security camera?

PIPS
by Stephen Jefferson

Question by junior T: how do I solve a problem with PIP and security camera?
I have a samsung lcd 46inch, and a defender sentinel 11 security cam. I cannot get the pip to show cable tv while viewing the cameras. the cable shows fine, but the right side is never showing the camera feed. but will show if viewing the camera only with all (4) cameras. can anyone help please..Thanks

Best answer:

Answer by Peter B
HI there. It is most likely because of where your input is coming in from for the cameras.

According the Samsung manual.

xvYCC ? Off / On

Setting the xvYCC mode to on increases detail and colour space when watching movies from an external device (i.e. DVD
player).
“xvYCC” is available when the picture mode is set to “Movie”, and the external input is set to “HDMI” or “Component”
mode.
If “xvYCC” function is active, PIP cannot be selected.

Further you can activate or deactivate the PIP function based on the input for the Main Picture being Component1, Component2, HDMI 1, HDMI / DVI 2, HDMI 3, HDMI 4 and PC.

The Sub picture input then would only come from TV, AV1 and AV2. My guess would be you have the DVR on the PC input or one of the component inputs and that is why you cant see the PIP properly.

Hope that makes sense.

Peter

Will a federal student loan impede and or hinder me while I am trying to purchase a home.?

Question by monalisa_2: Will a federal student loan impede and or hinder me while I am trying to purchase a home.?
I am going to return to college, but have never applied for a student loan. In the past I paid for my classes and books. I am going to buy my first home, and I am wondering if a student loan would affect my credit? I am a first time home buyer.

Best answer:

Answer by Found-1
If you have missed payments in the past or if your debt to income ratio is too high, it could hurt you. All your past student loans will be on your credit report separately so at first glance it will look like you have a ton of outstanding loans. Which i guess is true. If you took out private loans with those godawful maximum amounts, you could be in serious trouble.

Hubby and I have bought 2 houses and a condo on credit, my loans and his were both listed. We never missed a payment in the 12 years we paid on them though.

Is it smart to take out a personal bank loan to get a new apartment?

August 31st, 2010 by Bank Loan | 6 Comments | Filed in Loans

Question by Tears are *Diamonds*: Is it smart to take out a personal bank loan to get a new apartment?
I’m VERY unhappy with where I live at, I’ve been living here for 2 1/2 years. I really really want to get another apartment but don’t have the money saved to pay for the one month’s rent, security and broker fee, so is it smart to get a personal loan? I can pay it off with my regular checks and finish it off with the tax refund starting the new year…

Best answer:

Answer by anonimitie
I’d avoid it if you can. An unsecured loan like that has higher interest rates. I guess it depends on how unhappy you are there – if thoroughly then yes, get the loan and be happy.

Hey everybody, for this outlook video I look at Cable and the Euro Pound cross. Very simple analysis indeed, looking for some short term trend continuation plays. Good luck!! David Pegler

Question by OldYoungGEnius: What is the best forex software for beginners?
I am thinking about getting forex megadroid, the new Fap Turbo. I want to know is it good for beginners. I have Fap and it is good I guess, but I am a noob and want to hear from anyone who has purchased it. I read the reviews ( http://forexrobotsystems.info ) but I am still not sure. I have heard only good things about it but then that’s to be expected from reviews.

For this money you can buy the best auto trader software on the market Gomega Xray – http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/6772946-gomega-xray–profitably-trade-on-auto. This is a great deal, because the price is reduced from 5000$ to 100$ for a while.

Q&A: What do I look at in a mutual fund to tell me how risky it is?

August 31st, 2010 by Bank Loan | 2 Comments | Filed in News
mutual fund
by YoTuT

Question by Im2hard2please: What do I look at in a mutual fund to tell me how risky it is?
Are these numbers related to the risk of a mutual fund?

Standard Index
Dow Jones Moderate Port Best Fit Index
Credit Suisse High Yield
R-Squared 32 44
Beta 0.31 0.59
Alpha 2.28 1.35

How about these?
Standard Deviation 2.93 Sharpe Ratio 1.65
Mean 8.99 Bear Market Decile Rank* 1

Best answer:

Answer by csanda
Standard deviation is THE benchmark for risk. It is an absolute measure of how much the mutual fund price varies on a daily basis.

The second best measure for risk is Sharpe Ratio. This will tell you how much returns the mutual fund has gotten for the amount of standard deviation (i.e. risk). It is a relative term. This is important because it is always a trade-off of risk versus reward. You want to have an “efficient portfolio” that gives you the best prospective returns for the amount of risk that you are taking.

Beta is the third measure of risk. This tells you the amount of sensitivity the mutual fund has to the “market”, which is usually a specific index benchmark. In this case, it looks like “they” are using the wrong benchmark as High Yield funds always have a higher beta compared to its correct benchmark. My guess is that they are comparing it against the S&P 500, when that is not the appropriate benchmark. That aside, you should look at the R-squared when looking at the Beta. R-squared tells you what percentage of the performance is based on the underlying benchmark. In this case, the beta is 0.31 and the R-square is 32.44%. So when the benchmark moves 1%, the mutual fund tends to move by 0.31%. However, this relationship really only happens about 32.44% of the time – so it’s a loose relationship.

I’m not a fan of the High Yield funds right now. They have increadibly low spreads over risk free rates (e.g. 7%) compared to money market of 5%. You are taking a fair amount of risk (volatility) for not a lot of excess return (2%). If I’m not getting paid for risk, I don’t invest. Thus, this is why I just sold my High Yield bonds.

Do loan companies utilize hidden tracking devices on vehicles? How would they know where the vehicle is?

August 31st, 2010 by Bank Loan | 4 Comments | Filed in Loans

Question by Eisenheim: Do loan companies utilize hidden tracking devices on vehicles? How would they know where the vehicle is?
PLEASE READ ALL DETAILS BEFORE OFFERING AN ANSWER:
A friend of mine recently moved and gave her loan company her new mailing address. This address is a mailbox at a UPS Store, and is different from her physical address. She has never given out her physical address, not even to the UPS Store, and uses the mailbox address for all records (DMV, Bank, etc.). She is behind on payments, and the loan company called me since I am listed on a reference. They were trying to confirm her address, and repeated her “physical address”, the one that was never given ou t to anyone. How would they have this information? The vehicle is not equipped with lojack or any other anti-theft tracking device.

Question by pimp: So I was wondering which ping pong paddle is the best?
I want a comparison between pips out and pips in paddles? Pips out paddles seem like they would generate more spin then pips in paddles. Everyone I have talked to says Pips in paddles actually generate the most spin. I guess I would like to know if this is true and why this is.

Q&A: How many auto and finance industry “out of work” people want to stay in their industry?

August 30th, 2010 by Bank Loan | No Comments | Filed in News

Question by digiboy: How many auto and finance industry “out of work” people want to stay in their industry?
The folks at http://www.autodealerinstitute.com say that they are seeing a lot of career training and re-training inquiries from people who have lost their jobs in the automotive and financial industries. It seems a bit odd to me, as I would think many would not want to stay in the same industry. But I guess Service Advisors and F&I (finance and insurance) professionals must still be in demand. What are your thoughts?

Best answer:

Answer by mbrcatz
Insurance “professionals” tend to have a pretty high turnover in a good economy – Most people in the business, that I’ve met and worked with, don’t actually LIKE it too much.
:D I’m the oddball who loves it.

So when the opportunity comes up, from being laid off, to be retrained in something else, they jump at it. Why not? If you don’t like what you’re doing, you don’t have the right job.
