Question by zerohourx: Why not Government overseen by a Private Company?
Government here in Canada and in the U.S are so inefficient, expensive to run, and have little motivation to improve or pursue cheaper alternatives. All this contradicts a private company.
I would like to see government or even the Obama administration, which seems more open to new ideas (at least when this financial crisis simmers down), actually have some private business oversee how some aspects of government is run. Their entire business model is improving the efficiency and cost of the government service and in return reaps a % profit on the savings each year.
Just wishful thinking to better dinosaur government.

Right. How much more efficient would the Postal Service be if there were a profit motive in place? If postal employees were given merit pay?
