Is it okay to audio record an office when customers come in and discuss things such as funeral arrangement’s and financial issues without them knowing they are being recorded. Is this considered public or private property??

The law in each state is different. Generally, you should be okay if you clearly post a sign at the entrance that says something along the line of “All persons entering these premises are subject to video/audio surveillance.”
